Published Feb 24, 2022

NEW YORK (February 24th, 2022) – NY Braveheart SC has been accepted as the newest member to join NISA Nation for the Spring 2022 season, spearheaded by an ownership group led by Robert Reitman and Bob Chacko. Braveheart SC, in preparation for the 2022 NISA Nation league play, will have Christian Turizo lead the charge as the team’s head coach. Christian joins Braveheart with experience coaching in NISA Nation, having previously coached his prior club to a second-place finish in the league's inaugural season.

"This is a quality ownership group with the right ambitions and aspirations in mind", said NISA Nation Managing Director, Jonathan Rednour. "We're excited to see such great representation from the Long Island area that adds prestige to an already strong region."

NY Braveheart SC has set their sights on providing a platform for the plethroa of young, talented, local soccer players looking for that chance to pursue their dreams. With NISA Nation's “PATH to PRO” initiative, aligning with NISA Pro and its various professional teams around the country, the opportunity to reach the next level will become a reality.

"New York City and Long Island’s soccer players fall out of the US Soccer system," said Co-Owner Bob Chacko. "A lot of players struggle to get the opportunity due to circumstances beyond their own control."

NY Braveheart SC's mission is to emphasize on training and developing players for the next level. New York has a large pool of talented soccer players, and if given the right opportunity it will lead them to the desired PATH to PRO.

"We are looking forward to the partnership with NISA and NISA Nation," Chacko added.
