NISA Nation Announces Activation of North Texas Region

Published Jan 30, 2025

LA MIRADA, CA (January 30, 2025) – NISA Nation sets forth into 2025 creating a nationwide pathway-to-professional league with the activatition of the North Texas Region.

Multiple clubs have signed agreements to play a Spring Season beginning in March, with space for more clubs to join. The North Texas Region will feature as many as 10 clubs in the Spring Season.

“This is NISA Nation's second attempt in Texas and so this time the group of teams is located around Dallas-Ft. Worth rather than Houston, which doesn't mean there won't be Houston-area teams involved,” NISA Nation Director Matt Morse said. “South Texas remains one of the underserved hotbeds of soccer in the U.S., and some of those teams want to travel a little bit, so our plan is to continue to build and sustain divisions while we do some crossover play.”

NISA Nation, a full-year league providing independent clubs a groundbreaking pathway to professional status, launched in 2021 with regions from coast to coast.

The North Texas Region will feature a group of clubs that include FC Revolition, Midcities FC and Inter Fort Worth, with more clubs to be announced in the coming days.

The North Texas Region schedule will be released in February. More NISA Nation regions will be announced soon.
